"We have had other music at previous events, but none
that add as much to the friendly good time atmosphere
as yours... The thousand + spectators who had come to
sample the old-time crafts and living history displays
got a real treat when they gathered around to see your
shows - fun music, energetic dancing, good family humor,
and above all solid showmanship... Our reenactors, some
of whom are very choosy about the music they want at a
civil war event, were delighted with your selection and
variety of period tunes."

The soft scent of magnolia blossoms wafting gently
on a southern breeze, the tart plunk of the banjo and one of
Stephen Foster's favorite melodies "Hard Times Come Again No
More". Suzanne and Jim have transported you back to America
in the mid-1800's. You will hear the sentimental side of life
during America's most turbulent trial. Songs they sang when
solider and civilian wished to leave the strife behind: "O'
Susannah", "Some Folks Do", "Rose of Alabama" and "When You
and I were Young Maggie" The deeply felt but lighter side when
the boys marched off.
Suzanne and Jim have performed at a number of
reenactments and museums where they have been acclaimed.
"Your terrific act blended perfectly with the
spirit...You love what you do. It shows. It makes everyone in
an audience happy. You make us laugh, tap our toes, sing along,
get involved, because we pick up on your spirit... As a history
museum that is wanting to gently educate as we entertain folks
at our special events, I highly recommend you two because you
definitely know, and present, the real 19th century music folks
were playing."
